About Sol Babe

Sol Babe Foods was born from both challenge and love.

For years, I wore many hats from firefighter/EMT in my 20s, to over 15 years in the food service industry, to personal trainer and cycling instructor. But in 2022, while teaching a class, I experienced a nervous system breakdown that left me with severe anxiety, social challenges, and even exercise intolerance. That season of healing pushed me to slow down, reconnect with myself, and rediscover what truly nourishes both body and soul.

The kitchen has always been my happy place. From childhood days spent baking cookies with my mom to my lifelong passion for health and nutrition, food has been my way of creating connection. In 2021, I deepened that passion by studying at the Chek Institute, earning my Level 2 Holistic Health Practitioner certificate.

Much of my inspiration also comes from my daughter, a dedicated soccer player and athlete. Like most teens, she loves snacks and acai bowls, but I wanted to give her options that were truly clean, made without fillers or junk. I started by creating a better granola for her favorite bowls. Then, wanting to fuel her quickly before practices and games, I developed the very first Sol Bite using two of her favorites: peanut butter and honey with added peanut butter powder for protein. From there, Sol Babe Foods began to take shape.

The name Sol Babe carries layers of meaning. Sol can mean sun in Spanish, soil in Latin, and it also reflects our soul. To me, it represents being a “sun babe” vibrant, alive, and grounded and also a “nourished soul,” fed by real food and authentic connection.

At Sol Babe Foods, our mission is simple:
Nourish your body. Feed your soul.

We create wholesome, delicious snacks made from clean, thoughtfully chosen ingredients. But more than that, we’re building a community, a SOL family, where people can connect authentically, honestly, and wholeheartedly. Together, we’re choosing to care for our health, savor our food, and nourish the parts of ourselves that matter most.

Welcome to the journey. We’re so glad you’re here.
